At VCA Sanibel Animal Hospital we help pets live long, healthy and happy lives. We deliver the best medical care for pets and the best experience for pet owners.
Our veterinarians, technicians and other pet-friendly support staff are trained to the highest standards. Their thorough knowledge of the latest procedures and medications ensures that all our patients receive the best in preventive and healing care.
VCA Sanibel Animal Hospital reopened in June 2024 after the devastating impact of Hurricane Ian. While our original site was a small, one-exam-room practice with limited services, our new facility is a state-of-the-art hospital, designed to provide exceptional care for our beloved community. VCA is proud to now have five animal hospitals dedicated to taking care of Southwest Florida's family pets.
Located almost across the street from our previous site, the new VCA Sanibel Animal Hospital combines advanced technology with a hometown feel, making it especially convenient for residents of Captiva and Sanibel Islands, as well as Iona-McGregor, South Fort Myers, Fort Myers and Cape Coral.
