I am fortunate that I have known from a very young age what I wanted to do with my life. I do not have a focus event for choosing to become a veterinarian, but rather a continuing awe toward the medical and surgical aspects of the profession. I view dogs and cats as extremely special creatures and enjoy any opportunity to interact with them. There is something unique about going to work each day never knowing what condition, challenge, or disease I might encounter. Moreover, increasing the health and well-being of the relationship between owners and their pets is my priority.
My special interests are woodworking, particularly sculpture and furniture making, cycling, photography with an emphasis on portraiture and landscapes, and Schutzhund training.
