At VCA South Arundel Animal Hospital, we help dogs and cats live long, healthy and happy lives. We work hard to deliver the best medical care for your pets, and the best experience for you, the owner.

Located in Edgewater, our veterinarians, technicians and pet-friendly support staff are trained to the highest standards. Their thorough knowledge of the latest procedures and medicines ensures that our patients receive the best in preventive and healing care.

As the area's first Animal Hospital, VCA South Arundel is proud of its long history. Since 1966, we have been committed to educating our clients and involving them in their pet's health care. Our veterinarians and veterinary staff care for pets from Edgewater, Riva, and Davidsonville, MD, as well as the Annapolis area and Southern Anne Arundel County.

As we look to the next 50 years, our professional team will remain committed to maintaining the highest standard of care while providing the friendly, compassionate service our clients have enjoyed for generations. Our advanced technical equipment includes digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, and in house diagnostic testing. We believe routine wellness visits will help us keep your pet healthy and happy to a comfortable old age.

Lionbridge provides over-the-phone and video interpretation services for non-English-speaking and American Sign Language (ASL) clients. In real time, veterinary providers can enlist an expert Lionbridge interpreter to facilitate a clear exchange of information between themselves and clients. Lionbridge’s on-demand, remote interpretation services enable effective and accurate communication with clients. This service empowers clients to be heard and spoken to in their own language, which in turn facilitates a deeper understanding of the care your pet needs.
