Dr. Josie Thal grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. While in her undergraduate degree in Ohio she decided to change her focus to Veterinary Medicine. Her interests include aquatic animal and zoo medicine. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, knitting, painting, and pottery. Josie has a tuxedo cat named Arlo.
