Samarra Goldglas is from Erin, Ontario. She graduated with Distinction from The University of Western Ontario with an Honours Specialization in English Literature and Creative Writing with a Major in French Studies. She moved to Vancouver to pursue her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at The University of British Columbia, which she completed in Spring 2021. With a Veterinary Technician for a mother, she grew up in the back of a vet clinic and is happy to be part of the family at Vancouver Animal Emergency and Referral Centre. She began her journey with our Client Care team in summer of 2020 and took on the role of Referral Coordinator a year later. Away from work, Samarra enjoys writing screenplays, swimming in Vancouver’s many lakes and beaches, and arguing with her Miniature Schnauzer, Latke.
