Dr. Jessica Cantrell joined our practice in October 2017. She grew up nearby in Moncks Corner and recently moved back to the area. Dr. Cantrell attended Clemson University and graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Animal Science. She then went to the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. While at UGA, Dr. Cantrell spent any break she had to work in the veterinary teaching hospital. It was during these summer and winter breaks she developed a strong interest in oncology, surgery, and anesthesiology.

After graduating in 2006 she moved to Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, and practiced veterinary medicine there for 10 years. During those years she developed a broad set of skills and knowledge in surgery and medicine that expanded on what she learned at the University of Georgia.

In her free time, Dr. Cantrell enjoys traveling, cooking, outdoor activities, and spending time with her two dogs, Cortez and Caroline.
