The Barkley Pet Hotel & Day Spa is pleased to offer Doggy Day Camp days for its overnight guests. Day Camp is a cage-free environment that is designed for dogs that are social with other dogs. We offer two separate Day Camps catering to both small and large dogs. This is a great service for your pet where they can get extra exercise and have fun with other pets during their stay. Your pet will love a 30-minute dip at the hotel’s outdoor heated pool with their own personal lifeguard. We will fit your pet with their own life jacket and make sure they are towel dried afterward. Pool times are perfect for exercise as well as introducing your dog to water safety. Our pool offers a special “pet safe” beach-entry and plenty of water toys to keep them having fun. The Barkley Beach may close or have limited hours due to cold weather and other weather conditions from October through April.
