We understand it is natural for owners to feel anxious when their pet undergoes surgery. Trust Bond Animal Hospital to give your pets the attentive care and support they need at this time.
Surgical Expertise
Our veterinary team is experienced in treating a wide variety of patients, so we can meet the surgical needs of all your animal family including dogs, cats, birds, exotic pets and other small animals. In some rare soft-tissue procedures or complicated orthopedic surgeries, a consultant may be proper. For these problems, we????????ll consult with a board certified surgeon to ensure the best outcome for your pet.
Bond Animal Hospital specializes in general surgeries on an outpatient basis. Generally, these patients return home for the evening to recover comfortably in their own environments.
More complex surgeries may require intensive care monitoring and, when that occurs, we recommend transfer to the Veterinary Emergency Group for 24-hour attention. In cases where movement should be restricted to facilitate comfort and hasten healing, particularly after orthopedic surgeries, we may advise overnight boarding at Bond.
A Commitment to Safety
Surgery patients at Bond Animal Hospital are carefully evaluated and monitored by our experienced professional staff throughout the surgical process. Every patient undergoes a careful physical and baseline laboratory evaluation before any anesthetic is administered. The anesthetics used are specifically tailored to the needs of your pet and the type of procedure. Patients are monitored by a technician anesthetist using advanced technology to track EKG, heart rate, oxygen saturation, ETCO2, and blood pressure throughout the surgery.
