Dr. Haley completed her undergraduate degree in Bio-Medical Science (Honours) at the University of Guelph before starting her DVM at the Ontario Veterinary College. During her veterinary studies, Dr. Haley held a leadership role in organizing clinics with Community Veterinary Outreach and volunteered on spay-neuter trips in rural areas of Arizona and Washington State. Dr. Haley discovered her love of emergency medicine while spending her summers working in the renowned OVC Intensive Care Unit and VCA Canada Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital. Upon graduation from OVC, Dr. Haley was recognized with the National Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (VECCS) Proficiency Award and the Beloved Friends Prize for excellence in patient care.

In her spare time, Dr. Haley enjoys hiking, running, kayaking and exploring the island with friends. Dr. Haley shares her home with two beautiful longhair ginger cats, Kenya and Eddison.
