Dr. Tyler O'Loughlin is coming back to VCA Murrayhill Veterinary Hospital! He originally started his career with us in 2012 and held positions of technician assistant, client care representative, and doctor assistant. In order to pursue a future in veterinary medicine, he resigned to attend Oregon State University and received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2018.
A calm and reassuring veterinarian, he loves to partner with clients to develop a care plan for their pets. Dr. O'Loughlin has a particular interest in surgery, internal medicine, and diagnostic imaging (ultrasound and radiology).
Dr. O'Loughlin and his wife, also a veterinarian, have two wonderful cats, Cannoli and Gary, an energetic golden retriever, Kevin, and multiple small reptiles.
In his spare time, he enjoys soccer, movies, travel, and scuba diving. He grew up in Tigard, Oregon, and is thrilled to be able to return and share his passion for animals.
