Dr. Katherine Bloomberg earned a Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University in 1997, and is a 2001 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She has spent time working as a shelter veterinarian and has a strong interest in animal rescue and welfare. Dr. Bloomberg is a member of the AVMA and ISVMA

In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and camping.
