The friendly, professional staff at VCA Total Care consists of dedicated individuals who are waiting to help you and your pets. We pride ourselves on approaching pet health with a "TOTAL CARE ATTITUDE": we want to work with you to develop the best protocols for keeping your dogs and cats healthy and happy for their entire lives.

Rachel Tolley
Medical Director
We are thrilled to welcome our new Medical Director, Dr. Rachel Tolley DVM.

Dr. Tolley is a native of the west end of Richmond. After graduating with an Animal Science degree from Virginia Tech in 1998, she was admitted into the Veterinary College and graduated in 2002. After spending a few years practicing in Florida and Georgia, Dr. Tolley returned to Richmond where she has continued to practice in the Richmond area for many years. Dr. Tolley lives with her husband, their 5 sons and their Great Dane, Edward. She has a special interest in dentistry, geriatrics, and internal medicine.
