Amber has been working for VCA University since November 2016. She recently graduated from George Mason University with a B.S. in Neuroscience and a minor in Biology. Prior to working at VCA, Amber spent most of her undergraduate days assisting with dendritic morphology research in mice to further study Alzheimer’s disease. Amber is currently completing her pre-requisites in hopes of attending veterinary school in the near future. Her ultimate goal is to become a certified in Zoological Medicine.
Amber enjoys working at VCA University, because every day is different and full of new learning opportunities. She also loves the company of her co-workers and admires the knowledge, skills, and hard work that her fellow team members bring to VCA University.
Outside of work, you can find Amber crafting up the latest Pinterest DIY projects or spending time with her current animal companion Krystal, a 13-year-old Yorkshire Terrier.
“The reason why I work for VCA University Veterinary Clinic stems from my passion towards improving the health and the overall well-being of animals. I am grateful to work alongside dedicated individuals that strive to provide top-notch care to every patient.”
