Jordan is a Calgarian born and raised. From a young age, Jordan knew his life would involve working with animals. His parents were not very keen on having pets in the home, but that did not stop him. Jordan’s teenage years involved collecting and breeding various reptiles such as: leopard geckos, crested geckos, and bearded dragons. While in University, Jordan realized owning a small zoo was not the wisest and had downsized his collection to a few of his favourites. You will find an African bullfrog, an Argentine Tegu, a boa constrictor, and a family of sugar gliders in his home!
His family moved to Canada from Chile in 1974. Growing up, Jordan stayed immersed in Chilean culture via folk dancing la Queca with his father and sister. He is also well versed in various ballroom styles such as Salsa, Cha Cha, Jive and Waltz. In his free time, Jordan can be caught tending to his plants and pets or taking care of his mother and family. Jordan takes pride in being a part of the LGBTQ+ community and hopes society continues to evolve in supporting everyone and anyone.
Jordan is well known for his rosy outlook. He has a passion for rapport building amongst clientele, staff, and the veterinary community. He has been a part of the VCA family since 2019 and joined the amazing Western team since March of 2020.
