Dr. Benjamin Ulrich is originally from Illinois but moved to Arizona when a teenager so he now considers the valley to be home. He has been with VCA ARECA since June 2018 after graduating from Oregon State Vet School; he performed an internship here in 2018 and then has remained on since as an ER doctor enjoying the fast pace of ER medicine at ARECA. In ER medicine, he enjoys seeing anything from simple cases like ear infections, dog bite wounds to critical cases that need hospitalization, aggressive treatment. In his spare time, he enjoys to hang out with his wife and son; hike, walk his neighborhood, bike, swim, rock climb and watch the Chicago Cubs.
