Dr. Suresh Saytha was born and raised in India where he obtained his veterinary degree. He then moved to Canada and practiced general and emergency veterinary medicine in Ontario for 4 years. In 2008, Suresh moved to Saskatoon where he completed a roating small animal internship at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. He stayed on as a clinical associate in small animal surgery for a year teaching fourth year veterinary students. From there, he completed a combined three-year Master of Veterinary Science and small animal surgery residency at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Sathya successfully completed his board certification exam and was admitted to the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2015. He served as a small animal surgery faculty from 2013 to 2016 teaching students, interns, and residents before joining VCA Canada Guardian Veterinary Centre. Dr. Suresh Sathya enjoys many aspects of surgery and in particular arthroscopy, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and surgical oncology.
