Dr. Williamson graduated in 2013 from OVC at the University of Guelph, where he remained for a year as a rotating intern in Medicine and Surgery. He completed his residency in anesthesiology at Virginia Tech in 2017, alongside a Master’s degree in veterinary science and a certification in postgraduate education. He achieved board certification in anesthesia and analgesia in 2017. Following completion of his residency, he worked as a clinical instructor in anesthesiology at University of Wisconsin-Madison until August 2018, when he returned to Canada to join the VCA team.
