Dr. Schwartz graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015.  Following graduation, she completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA Shoreline Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Shelton and VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk. She spent the next several years working as an emergency veterinarian in central Connecticut.  Having grown up in West Hartford, she is excited to be back in her hometown and to transition into her new role as a general practitioner.  Outside of work, Dr. Schwartz enjoys reading, listening to music and podcasts, cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.  She shares her home with her two cats, Penelope (Penny) and Tuppence.
