Dr. Laura Osborne grew up on the east coast of Australia and obtained her veterinary degree with honours from the University of Melbourne. She underwent internship training in small animal medicine and surgery before going on to complete an emergency and critical care residency at the University of California. In 2019, Laura became a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC).
Laura's professional interests include post-operative care and management of electrolyte and acid base derangements, intoxications and respiratory disease, with a particular interest in advanced procedures such as mechanical ventilation and hemodialysis. She also enjoys teaching, working closely with students, interns and residents. In her spare time, she is an avid hiker and enjoys travelling.
