Dr. Hollinshead graduated from WCVM in 2004. She started out in mixed animal practice for a few years, and worked as an emergency veterinarian at Animal Care Emergency of Calgary before transitioning to companion animal practice. She owned Tuscany Veterinary Hospital for many years until selling it in 2020.

Dr. Hollinshead has always had an interest in veterinary rehabilitation. She obtained her certification in veterinary rehabilitation from The Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2018. Dr. Hollinshead worked in the rehabilitation department of the West Coast Veterinary Emergency and Specialist Hospital for the past 6 months gaining invaluable experience. Her favourite cases include neurological, geriatrics and orthopaedic as well as bracing and orthotics. (But really she likes them all!)

Dr. Hollinshead is excited about working with the many veterinary specialists in Calgary but also being available to see referrals from veterinary clinics in Calgary and the surrounding area.

Dr. Hollinshead’s spare time is spent with her two teenage sons and husband. When she is not watching her kids play hockey, biking, running, surfing and taking the family’s Irish wolfhound, Wilson, on adventures are just a few of the things that she likes to partake in.
