Dr. Schwartz grew up in Ottawa and is happy to settle in such a wonderful city. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2013 and spent a year in Connecticut completing a rotating internship in small animal medicine, surgery and emergency. During her internship, Dr. Schwartz developed an interest in emergency medicine and is excited to work at Alta Vista Animal Hospital, where she can provide the highest standard of care to our furry family members.
In her spare time, she plays ‘servant’ to her senior Airedale Terrier, Briggs. She also enjoys reading, crocheting, playing basketball and hockey.
